Screws connect the world. DIN and standard parts.
Draw from our range of products:
The treatises of the Greek mathematician Archimedes (c. 287 to 212 BC)...
prove the invention of the endless screw, also called the Archimedean screw. It was able to pump water to higher locks. In ancient Egypt, there were already such motion screws that rotated in an inclined tube. It is believed to have been invented around 400 BC by the Greek philosopher Archytas. The threads were made of wood and were used to irrigate fields and pump water out of ships' hulls.

Only nuts complete a screw connection
Convince yourself of our selection:
From the square nut to the twelve-sided nut...
depending on your application, there are a multitude of variations. But why is the hexagon nut so popular? The hexagon nut offers a good compromise and is the most common version. You can grip the hexagon nut at a distance of 60 degrees at a time. If you swing a spanner through a 60 degree arc, you can tighten the nut so that the spanner can be removed and applied to the next pair of spanner flats. The jaws of most open-end spanners are offset 15 degrees from the handle, so even by turning the spanner around you can tighten the nut with only 30 degrees of access. Machines are getting smaller and lighter which means that access to reach the fasteners is becoming more minimal.

Dowel technology, innovation that connects.
The Fischer Group as a strong partner.
Arthur Fischer, born in Tumlingen (Waldachtal) and head of Fischerwerke, is one of the most productive inventors in the world. His best-known inventions include the S dowel made of polyamide, which was launched on the market in 1958. Even a dowel for fixing bone fractures in 1970 and a flash light device for cameras arose from his curiosity and love of experimentation.
- Heavy-duty fastening

- Lock washers
- Split pins
- Adjusting rings
- Snap rings
- and much more.
Pins, the simple way to connect workpieces
Pins are machine parts with which workpieces are joined together. They are comparable to nails, but have no head or tip. Workpieces are positively connected to each other with pins in the radial direction of the pins. The pin is inserted into a hole that runs through all parts. In a positive connection, two connection partners engage in each other. This means that the connecting partners cannot come loose without or with interrupted force transmission. This means that with a form-fit connection, one connection partner is in the way of the other.
- Dowel pins
- Taper pins
- Notch pins
- Splinter pins
- and much more.
Riveting technology, the alternative to screwing
Our partners: Gesipa, Goebel
As a rule of thumb, you can calculate as follows: Material to be joined + rivet diameter = rivet shaft length Manufacturers' specifications for shear and tensile force must of course be taken into account when calculating the riveted joint. The values to be met are standardised according to ISO 14589.
- Blind rivets DIN 7337
- Blind rivet nuts
- Solid rivets
- and much more.
Thread inserts with Germany's best
Our partner: Völkel
The advantage of a threaded insert (e.g. Rampa, notch cone) is that if access is difficult, assembly can be carried out from the same side from which the screw is to be screwed in. Another advantage is the variable screw-in depth, which allows the screw to be flush with the component.

- Wire thread inserts (Thread Inserts)
Standard parts, operating elements / clamping elements / machine elements in a large selection.
Our partners: Ganter, Halder
The 180 degree version of the standard angle joints is suitable here. For particularly high load forces, there is also a non-detachable version.
- Star cross handles
- Pressure pieces
- Ball knobs
- Angle joint
- and much more.
Grease nipple, a small nozzle with a big effect.
Grease nipples are small nozzles through which a bearing is supplied with lubricant by means of a grease gun.
The cavity of the grease nipple is closed inside by a small ball that is pressed against the opening from below by a spring. When the grease gun is used, the built-up pressure forces the ball inside the cavity. When the pressure drops, the ball returns to its original position.
- Conical grease nipple
- Flat grease nipple
- Funnel grease nipple
- and much more.
Caps, who wears the hat here?
Our partners: Pulverich, Essentra

Hose / pipe clamps, connectors and fluid systems combined
Our partner: Norma
Lumley Robinson (UK) invented the classic worm thread clamp under the brand name Jubilee. Hose clamps consist of a ring-shaped metal band which, in conjunction with a set screw, reduces the inner diameter of the hose clamp and thus presses the hose underneath onto the fitting, thus sealing it.
- Pipe clamps DIN 1593
- Hose clamps Worm thread
- Hose clamps with clamping jaws
- Tube tape
- and much more.
Fittings, no long line with our products.
It was Georg Fischer (Lower Austria) who introduced this type of cast iron to Europe in 1864 and turned pipeline construction upside down in terms of quality and price. (Georg Fischer AG) In the 1870s, the term fitting appeared for the first time in Georg Fischer product catalogues.
