They can all be operated with 18 V Li-Ion batteries from Makita! The wide range of high-quality professional tools offers extremely powerful and reliable work support with 18 V power for a wide variety of tasks. The Makita tool range and Makita garden range can be used across the board with the Makita 18 V batteries.

The Makita 18 V lithium-ion batteries can be used with all compatible Makita tools in the same power class, regardless of the ampere hours.

When buying a second 18 V tool, you can therefore simply opt for a model without a battery and use your existing 18 V batteries. Of course, you can also use our machines from the 18 V System-KIT range.

The System-KIT products are supplied without battery and charger, which saves money and storage space. Simply use your existing 18 V battery for machines from the Makita System-KIT range. The larger the Ah class of the battery, the more endurance the batteries have and therefore you can work longer with one battery charge. With the matching Makita DC18RC fast charger, the batteries are gently but effectively recharged within a short charging time. With the double quick charger DC18RD, you can even charge 2 batteries in parallel in the usual fast time.

This is particularly suitable for the Makita 2 x 18 V system. Thanks to Makita battery technology and the perfectly matched chargers, an 18 V 5.0 Ah battery is ready for use again after only 45 minutes of charging.
